Youtube’s most famous annual convention, “Vidcon” is a place for creators, brands and fans to meet and greet. Well, it was until Paramount and Tiktok decided to buy it out and make it an “online digital creator across all platforms” convention instead. I felt like a lot of the original charm of the event was lost in an attempt to be overly trendy.
